In accordance with Section 106 a conference call must occur with interested parties and the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office, as the following proposed activity, Sullivan Victim Services Improvements project has resulted in an adverse effect. The scope of work includes the demolition of an accessory building located at 663 Main Street, Laporte, PA 18626 and replanting of the area to create a mini park with pavers and benches, to create a signature park to honor the heritage of Laporte Borough, including recognition (plaques) of the historic properties that were demolished, and salvage of the existing storefront, entry door, related accessories, and wood trim to be donated to the Sullivan County Historical Society, full proposed project details are mentioned below.
