Employment Opportunity - Programs / Operations Manager – Department of Emergency Services

The Sullivan County Commissioners are seeking applicants for the position of Programs and Operations Manager at the Department of Emergency Services. Applicant shall possess a general knowledge of Emergency Response for Fire and EMS, working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel Programs, ability to pass a criminal background check, possess a valid PA driver's license, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate must achieve a minimum of Emergency Medical Responder Certification and/or Emergency Medical Technician and maintain that status throughout employment and must be able to respond to emergency situations 24/7, ready to work long hours if required. Emergency response grant management and 911 dispatch certification will also be required. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
