Employment Opportunity - Sealer of Weights and Measures

The Sullivan County Commissioners are seeking qualified and highly motivated applicants for the Part-Time position of Sealer of Weights and Measures. This position is responsible for inspecting and conducting accuracy tests on weighing and measuring devices used in commercial transactions in Sullivan County including small capacity scales up to 30 lbs. capacity, motor fuel dispensers, platform and hopper scales up to 1000 lbs. capacity, and timing devices.

Successful candidate must possess a valid PA driver’s license with a good driving record and must be able to pass a criminal background check. Individual must have excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.
