Dog License Applications & Renewals Online
The Treasurer’s office is excited to now offer you the ability to renew your dog license or apply for a dog license application without having to visit the office.
You can renew or apply for a dog license online by visiting the new online licensing ordering page or by scrolling down to the “Resources” section below and clicking on “Renew or Apply for Dog License Online”.
Accepting Credit Card Payments
Credit/Debit cards and e-checks are accepted in the Treasurer's Office for all your licensing needs (Hunt, Fish, Dog). Each transaction will require a nominal convenience fee: Credit/Debit@ 2.39% of the total purchase price and e-checks @ $1.00 each.
Duties of County Treasurer
The county treasurer shall receive and issue receipts for money due or accruing to the county. The county treasurer shall keep proper accounts of money received and disbursed. The treasurer's records shall be open to the inspection of the controller and the county commissioners at all times during office hours.
The treasurer shall issue receipts for money received for the county and shall transmit the duplicate or triplicate receipts daily to the controller or to the county commissioners in counties without a controller. The treasurer shall keep daily records of disbursals from the county treasury and shall forward daily records to the controller or the county commissioners in counties without a controller.
The Treasurer is a member of the County Salary Board and the County Retirement Board
Act as an issuing agent for the Commonwealth for all licensing such as hunt, fish, dog, small games of chance, bingo and sportsman firearm permits.
